You have your sneaker collectors, clothing and accessory collectors, and then there's your vinyl toy collectors. The Kaws and Kidrobot bearbricks have become very popular lately, but Michael Lau, an artist from Hong Kong, really puts toy collecting and street culture into high demand with his urban toy figures. Some of his more exclusive pieces range upwards to $15,000 and about a few hundred for his general released figures. The Hundreds Blog recently covered Lau and some of his pieces also. Wish I could get my hands on some of these!
